This patch is a synthesizer, sequencer and drum machine. The notes are received via MIDI from an external device (or via PC keyboard letter: Z S X ecc..). You can store and recall the settings of the gray modules. The patch can record audio in uncompressed format in two differnt way: from the attack of the sound (used to sample a note) or the whole performace. Through the router each one of the four voices can be assigned at the sequencer or at the live execution.

Hum, Tom I try a little bit but it's quite difficoult for some reasons: [osc~] through [unsig~] wants a bang refresh, or an index number if you pass through an array table, and the output will be always between -1 and 1. If you mean to use the [osc~]'s frequency to get envelopes for the [knob] parameters this approach it's wrong, but there will be a way to do that, for sure! For that kind of oscillator's uses Csound it's really user-friendly!

I will try to do something about that, it's a problem I don't had fixed up to now, thanks for the suggestion!

This patch has left me very impressed, well done an amazing job, really, thank you for sharing!

My poor ZORG now downgraded really thirsty!
Seriously, besides playing really well and be beautifully responsive also the look and feel has a very eye-catching charm.

The effects are also very well made them, and what about the part for loading presets? It 's all very well made!

    Thank you again! :-)

    1. Drum sequencer: turning on the sounds it's quite simple, but for sync the sequencer and the drum machine you have to operate on the BOTH toggle. Once you have entered the sequence, set the subdivision (Suddivisioni a.k.a whole, half, quarter, ecc..) and set the drum pattern (the yellow ratio marker it's for the pattern's lenght), turn off the BOTH toggle, then push the Riavvolgi bang for sequencer (the value of the counter under the Riavvolgi bang should be = 0) and drum machine and then the BOTH toggle on.

    2. 'giro' means loop but it's only for the note entered and routed for the sequencer. When you select it the notes entered are automaticly bounced in two parts, one is 4 patterns (or misures, depend how you subdivide/think the entered sequence, for conventions it's better call it pattern rather than misure) of the entered notes values, the one other is 4 patterns is these notes pitched one tone lower. It's a quit automation that should be amplied and bring to the user in the front panel.

    3. The write toggle it's only for enable the recording mode for te pattern (16 notes), it works with ROUTER VOCI that assign VCO's to the sequencer (for write or read the sequence). Best results with the ENV 'p' mode (piano), because you can swithc notes off!

    4. Use the Riavvolgi bang and take a look to the bottom counter values (it should be = 0, when you begin ZORG set it = -1, this it's to be fixed).

    5. Yes, this it's a good idea! But also implement a routine for save the drum patterns! So: both good ideas!

    6. The ratio row set the lenght of the drum sequence (use the Riavvolgi bang!). It turns exactly 4/4 if you set over any colored (grey) column ;)

    Thanks again Coalman :)

Thanks, thanks thanks and thanks again Coalman! You make me happy :)
Now give me some time to write a full reply to your post please! This morning I woke up at 6:30, left home at 7:20 and returned at 20:30, then finish to eat at 21:30 and now I'm a bit "low of battery", but in the last week I've implemented a midi reader for ZORG, so the next version will load and play mid files (songs).. ..and others little things than, for now, I don't want to say ;)

I will reply you as soon as I can! (thanks!!!!)

Thanks guys, I'm really happy that you enjoy it! :-)))

This patch took me away a good part of the past summer but it's not finished yet! Hope to have time to fix some bugs (the pulse module is not working as I want and also the envelope has some odd to fix). By the way, for now it's monodic but the next step its' to make it polyphonic! ;-)
