I'm trying to emulate the KP3 with Pd (obviously). I've started doing the sampler-looper. In KP3, basically, it works like this:
Press Sampler button
Select the beat lenght (1, 2, 4, 8 or 16)
Press the Sampler bank (1, 2, 3 or 4).
It starts recording the quantity of beats, depending on BPM.
It Stops automatically and starts playing (looping) it.
I make a patch with 5 looper. To try it, do this:
In one Sample Bank:
Select beat lenght (- + butons), for example, 1.
Press big button (rec).
It starts recording and, then, stops automatically.
Plays the bank inmediatly.
(now, the problem)
Use another Sample Bank.
Record something synching with you are hearing, using 4 beats.
When it stops, it starts playing OUT OF SYNCH, it has a little delay. And so, with the other banks.
Where is the error in the patch? I know that phasor~ is used to make samplers... but I though that I would have more posibilities using vline~, like changing BPM on the fly (like KP3 does). Should I use phasor~ instead of vline~?
Also, there's a click sound, when it plays the loop. I don't know if it at the start or at the end of sampling.
I looked various loopers-samplers from this forum... but I got more confused. I think it's better to make one by myself.
Any help?
