xYzee looks and sounds like a cool patch. Unfortunately when I try to use it I get at least two errors. The [scale_map] object in lead_seq.pd and the [set_scale] object in xyz_main.pd both show as broken objects, meaning neither have solid lines around them. There were more but I finally figured out I needed to install Cyclone. Is there another package I need to install to get this to work?
Thanks,
Bill

Question about xYzee.
-
Hi Bill,
thanks for having a look at xYzee!
After installing cyclone things get better? did you get any sound from it?
Eventually start pd with the -verbose flag (File->Startup->StartUp Flag: -verbose),
restart it and see which object is not loaded.
Eventually try H.C. Steiner PD extended version (which OS are you on?).
Note that [scale_map] and [set_scale] are separate files in the archive (scale_map.pd and set_scale.pd), it's strange that they not load, they should...Let me know if you succeed in running it or if I can provide more info..
cheers,
Alberto

hi bill. [scale_map] and [set_scale] are abstractions, and as far as i can see, they don't use any externals at all. If you load xyz_main from its original folder i can see no reason why they wouldn't load - unless you have moved either the xyz_main patch, or some of the abstraction patches.
you didn't move anything? in the xyz folder, there are 2 scale_map patches and a set_scale patch? if not try downloading again, cos it looks like something is wrong.

Looks like a got a bad download. I think I did move the folder but those files weren't in there. I will download it again and see what happens.
[edit] Yup. DL'd it again, extracted it to the extra folder, and everything is peachy. Or spacey, I guess.
Thanks, guys.
