I found it useful to load bang a number into the tempo number box, so that one is not immediately at 0 upon touching it.
edit: And, 'twould be great to be able to save and reload patterns as one goes along.

As far as I remember, this one is one of my first patches. -
This looks great, I just found one problem... When the tempo goes up the metro beats less times per second. So if it is on 2, then the metro will beat 250 times a second, while if it is on 500, the metro will only beat once a second. You want to do 1000 divided by whatever tempo is set to to feed into the metro.
