A gumstix is a mini computer:
    http://www.gumstix.com/store/catalog/product_info.php?cPath=31&products_id=227

I was wondering if this might be powerful enough to run pd with some vst's plugged into it (which I still need to figure out how to use the vst object, but that is something different). Also, if anyone has any experience with gumstix, that would be greatly appreciated.

And thus fun was born. Just click where is says press here, and fun stuff happens! If you move the black canvas (the select box is in the top left) then you can see how it works!

I have two different sliders in two different places in my pd patch that need to talk to each other, so when you change one the other one changes too. The problem is this creates a feedback loop, so I have been trying to find a way to get past this. I always get error: stack overflow. This is what I have so far just to try to figure this part out:

To make that into a pd file, just open notepad and enter it. Then say save as, put in jibe.pd as name and put file type as all files.
    Thank you so much!

As the title says, I can not open the startup command box. I need to do this so I can, as you guessed it, enter startup commands. I have tried uninstalling then reinstalling, and it still doesn't work! Any advice? Thanks!

What is the startup flag command that makes pd compute audio? I have looked around but can't find the answer.

    Hello,
I just installed PD extended 40.3 on Windows Vista Home Premium 64 SP1. I am using an M-Audio Uno USB-MIDI interface to an external MIDI keyboard. I am experiencing a one second delay between striking a key on the keyboard and seeing the note come into PD. I have tested another program that also takes MIDI input, and there is no observable delay. I used that same version of PD extended on another computer that is running Windows XP and it seems to work fine there with the same Uno USB-MIDI interface. I did a lot of work on that computer, and have a lot of data from that computer. That computer died, but I had the data backed up and now it is on this computer. I would very much prefer not to have to start everything over with another program, so is there a way to fix the delay?
    Thank you.

This looks great, I just found one problem... When the tempo goes up the metro beats less times per second. So if it is on 2, then the metro will beat 250 times a second, while if it is on 500, the metro will only beat once a second. You want to do 1000 divided by whatever tempo is set to to feed into the metro.

Well one is related to an ipod touch and another to the visual front on pd.
