Filterbank without [clone] or single instance filter
This post is deleted! -
@inum There was in Pd extended "unauthorised" a filterbank external..... obviously 32-bit.
Here is the source code and help file, and the windows 32-bit binary...... filterbank~.zip
... might give some clues.

why is the post deleted? If nothing yet, I can make an object for ELSE

else has resonbank~ and bpbank~ but I can work with new options

Hi, I am trying to make a 32 band filterbank with bpbank~ and I am very bad at math
How would I calculate the list of frequencies to evenly spread the bands? I guess I would have to specify the lowest and the highest crossover frequency and then divide the range in between by 30 logarithmically somehow....... but how...?
Or is there a hidden feature to just do that?
Thanks for your help. -
@trummerschlunk If you don't feel like figuring out the math, you could instead convert your end frequencies to fractional MIDI note numbers using [ftom], divide that MIDI interval into the number of bands you want, then convert back to frequency using [mtof]. That'll calculate the log stuff for you.

ha, that's pretty cool
Thanks.Still don't know how I made it through math focus course (Leistungskurs) in school... Watching log videos now...
