Hi there,
I'm wanting to use comport to create a patch connecting PD to an Arduino. Have downloaded comport 0.2, unpacked/unzipped the file and put the folder in my PD externals folder.

But when I open the comport -help I get comport 1 9600... couldn't create

I'm not sure if there's an installation step I've missed or something? Running Pure Data Vanilla 0.51 on MacOs 10.15

@bonehead696 Comport 0.2 will be 32 bit (2012) and you need a 64-bit version to open within Pd 0.51.
You can look for it through the Pd top menu...... Help... Find externals.... and follow the onscreen instructions.

In deken (Help->Find externals), the most recent [comport] is 1.2. Why download 0.2?
