I just got a raspberry pi and I'm new to puredata but have worked with Max a while back.

So I'm lerning as I go along.

I was wondering if anyone have been able to run benjolin on a raspberry pi?

WOuld love to get it running on a pi is possible as I understand that the extended library doesn't work. Any help here?

I'm basically running patchbox from Blokas Os on the pi 3.

I have run it on a Pi. You just need all the externals he uses. IIRC, it's the CREB library, the jmmmp and mmb abstractions, and I think that's it, but I could be missing something. You can install the first two with apt-get. The mmb library is not there, but you can just copy it from the Benjolin directory you have in your computer, it's just abstractions, mainly vanilla.

which version of creb should i get? I'm using deken to install the libraries.
there's nothing that it finds unless I click hidden then i see a list.

I'm using rpi3b and using pd 0.5

@idkei If it is not on Deken you can (easily under Linux...?) compile it for your system from source.

This one might not work...... I don't know...... as it is on GitHub under the Pd-l2ork fork, but you could try it. Help for compiling is in the Readme.... https://github.com/pd-l2ork/pd/tree/master/externals/creb

You can type apt-cache search ^pd- and you'll get a list of all available libraries for Pd in your repo. I think I installed creb via apt-get.
