Hi all, i am trying to make a Frequency Manipulation compression in the same way as a radio works, but i just can't get my head around how it actually works. I want to be able to "code" some signals, mix them and then decode the signals for splitting them again (like a FM radio).

Is there a way to save the MIDI settings so that when i start PD it automatically "detects" my MIDI controller (BCR2000). I am on OS X.

It's for a computer w. no screen so there's no way to set it up every time i fire the machine up.

Hi all. I want to incorporate a 16x2 LCD Display Module to show some parameters from my patches, but i dont know how. I've heard that the Arduino would be a nice host for it, but i was thinking about connecting it directly to the serial port of my computer? I am new to this kind of hardware.
