That's the plan Alberto. When we have a full armoury it's time to hit those Max/MSP users and take them out.

I like the idea of using it to shape waves for LFOs, good to get that authentic RC oscillator curve that gives old analogs their character. In fact expr~ is very useful for shaping generally, you can solve all sorts of sound design problems with it. Problem is, it's a bit expensive. I'm not sure why. Frank seemed to think it might be a processor thing, I did some tests and found it really struggled on certain Intel and VIA architectures (about 1.5 times as expensive as equivillent atomic operations) but on AMD it was faster. Maybe some optimisation flags need setting when it's compiled. So, using [vead~] is an annoyance to me, but it's better than having people on Windows unable to load the patches at all (afaik [ead~] on MS Win is still a problem.
