Hi all,

In my patch I am toggling between different sliders and changing their values. I would like to display the value of the current slider I am changing in a number box (Number2). Every slider's value will stay the same when I leave it to change other sliders. I tried creating this, and i've ALMOST got it, but the sliders change everytime I leave them

Can anyone take a look at my patch please? I've attached it
I would greatly appreciate any help.

Thank you, I appreciate you looking at it! but now if you try changing the values when you're on a different channel they all jump to 0 :/

really? i'm not getting that - it's working for me
i can change values on any slider, and toggle between them, and the others stay where i left them.
i was getting them jump to 0 with the original patch though.

It is because the [f] object outputs the value of the slider, then that changes to a 0. This happens every time I toggle between sliders... I know this is the problem area now, but I'm not sure how to fix it

That is the strangest thing. You're right, your solution does work. But only after I quit Pd and re-opened it.

Take the output of [r current_slider] and connect it to the right inlet of [+ ] instead of the left inlet of [f ].
