I know there are topics on the forum about it, but the searchengine won't let me find it, but could someone tell me if there are audio compare operators like [>~] and [<~] and where we can find them? I know expr~ can do this but i want to use 12 of them and i know that expr~ is quite cpu intensive, so that's why i want to use the other ones.

they are originally from zexy, but apparently pd wasn't playing so nicely with the > < characters because they are also used in the foundation C code, or something like that. i think at one point those objects even made it into a pd vanilla version, but then it seems like they disappeared again.

i don't think [expr~] is that bad. it's [fexpr~] that is the memory killer. you could probably make 100's or even 1000's of [expr~ $v1 > 0] sort of objects with no problem. i still do it that way cos i can't be bothered keeping track of where the simple objects are.

Then you have [>~].
