Hi Luigi.  
I'm a new Italian user from Varese but i speak Englisc (eheh) to allow everyone (can understand)  
to understand what we speak about.  
I'd like to use pd under suse linux 10.0 but i can't compile last version of pd.  
The shell says that the compilerz are not right.can't find the right C compiler.  
I've got al gcc libraries.... what i can do?  
Can you help me please????

I tried the vst~ external (pd ver 0.39-2 on Windows XP HE) but I had some problems:

• once created the vst~ object box in the patch becomes invisble
• with some VST it crashes pd
• when I succesfully load a VST plugin (e.g. PlasticZ), I send some notes (using the patch in the
  example/help): the plugin receive the notes but It does not emit any sounds...

are you joining the outlets of the plugin to [dac~] (audio output)

do you have pd dsp turned on?

did you make sure your audio is configured correcty? does test audio and midi work?

but yeah, i think lots of vsts won't work with pd.
