Here is my latest drum machine: it's poly-rhythmic and poly-metric. Hints and tips are welcome for debug (for example: did i properly used spigot? (it's a new entry in my knowledge)).
Anyway, i hope you'll enjoy this little patch!

oops( I got your patch mixed up with Domiens, so ignore what I said before please)
Great possibilities with 16 independent poly lines!
Maybe add resize buttons for the tables so you can use it as a "live jammer" with guitar etc.
NIce work, thanks for posting it.

Hi cian, nice work, thanks for sharing it..
Clean gui (even if in my little 15'' it is a bit large).
would be nice to add a feature to clean up all the triggers in one time,
load different samples and, why not, load some predefined patterns..Mandi frut..

thanks you guys for replies.
andy, the possibility to resize tables with a single click is a wise advice. Actually i want to build a synth, and, googling around found your six tutorials. Great work!
Alberto, cleaning up all the triggers could be useful but is not in my priorities. Anyway was already in my mind to create the possibility to load some patterns and arrays... I followed some links and enjoyed your music. I find ambient works pretty interesting. Your OuterSpace system is very easy to use, i play with something different, take a look to my Cuckoo Suite (not so user-friendly as yours anyway.., but for live ambient works great even if loading presets attempt failed for no apparent reason).

looks good but believe you me, GUI space slowly becomes highly competitive real estate - you'll want to shrink that bad boy down!
nice layout though - i liked how the red counted through the bars as a visual cue, and the speed control in beats was nice - also was nifty that when set to less than 16 beats the end ones blacked out! only question i really had was what does the bottom number box on the right side of each channel do though? is that the timing ie 4/4 by default? changing it didn't seem to do anything but maybe i just didn't play with it long enough.
the patching looks neat at first glance, and everything sounds decent - if i could add features i'd like to see i'd say maybe some pitch/playback speed controls, and maybe a handful of simple effects (delay, reverb, phaser, etc.) you could assign to each channel, maybe with a single slider of control or something.
only bug i noticed really was sometimes the counter for the channel would overcount if you changed the bar length while it was playing - stopping and starting fixes that but maybe you could throw a [wrap ] on the counter for each channel so any overcounts just wrap back around.
now for cuckoosuite where do i put the vbapan~.pd_darwin file? i'm on XP, it opens but gives me errors cause ov vbapan~

Thanks slvmchn, i'm already at work on some FX, but i'm still wondering on building a little bus and on a way to make addresses for these FX could be changed dynamically.
The bottom number box is the bottom part of time signature: changing it is useless; in fact if you want to double the speed you have to change the upper part (a 4/8 is equal to a 4/4).
What you call over-counting is not an error (just a little bug): the patch plays twice the first beat (if both triggers are on: one is the first on the left, the other is the first of the next bar - the over-counted). i really can't understand why, but is interesting that with this little bug you can have a difference between the first bar and the others.vbapan~ is a tool from CICM, you can find it for windows here:
http://cicm.mshparisnord.org/dl/ambipan.htmabout shrinking the guy, i think i won't - but fell free to do all the edits you want (send me a copy) -: i'm using OSX and i can simply change window by clicking the centra mouse button or by hitting F10 on keyboard. sorry, but i use to work in this way, maybe it's a little confusing but it suits perfectly to me.
ps: if you have some avices on FXs they're welcome
