I was wandering if the Pi2 is strong enough to playback up to 15 stereo audio files at the same time?

I would like to use arduino to read 15 buttons push that will trigger each corresponding audio files.

Do you think Pi2 is strong enough for the above?

No need for playing track at the same time. 15 buttons that each button will play a corresponding track.
If track 1 is playing and someone press button 2 (correspond to track 2) the track that was playing (track number 1) will stop and track number 2 will start. Only 1 track that playing at a given time.

Do I need to load the 15 tracks to buffer in advanced? or I can read them from the sd card? Any suggested system for that?

@KMETE [readsf~] will take care of that...... reading directly from disk..... no arrays.

In the help file is written:
"You must open the soundfile in advance (a couple of seconds before you'll need it) using the "open" message."

is true talking few seconds to open the file?

@KMETE I think the help file was written for a Sinclair Z88 running Pd 0.0.
On an I5 with ssd I start them immediately.
Trial and error I suppose but a Pi2 is pretty powerful and has fast memory access I think.
If you hear a problem try 1 or 2ms.... I think that would be enough.

Here is my patch for the moment:

When I press btn 1 it play track 1 when I press btn 2 it should start track 2 (and stop track 1) but this is not happening. only a second press will start the track.
Why is that? can you see m mistake?

I have changed it a bit.... which will kill any button bounce..... but stop you starting the same track again until it has finished. Using a delayed reset instead of the bang from the right outlet of [readsf~] will do the first without the second........ examp.zip
Your logic would not kill button bounce.. 1 0 1 0 1 0 1...... as [change] would pass all the "1"'s and force [readsf~] to repeatedly read the same file.... which might have caused the problem.

You could put a [print] on the outlet of [pak l i] to see if there are problems with the incoming messages.
Maybe [del 500] was not enough...... so the first press gets the file too late for the start and the second press works because the file is now already read. But it would surprise me that the memory access is so slow on an sd card.
