Hi,

I am interested in using lib pd to embed a pd patch in a processing sketch.

I saw an example of this and saw a .pd file in a processing sketch folder.

Is lib pd a different version of pd? or is it just a wrapper that allows a pd patch to work in a processing sketch?

Also I am having a problem downloading lib pd on a Mac.
I went to the git page:
https://github.com/libpd/libpd

It says for mac use the terminal, but it doesn't say what to type into terminal. If anyone knows if lib pd can be installed on a Mac and how to do it let me know.

I guess you have to type whatever is written above this note. It just says how you can access the bash command line, which is through the Terminal App (last time I checked it was in the Applications/Utilities). All the above commands should be valid in macOS.

@alexandros Thank you. I think I got it installed.
Do you know If I can use regular Vanilla patches with libpd? Seems like it's just Pd inside of another folder.

I've never used libPd, so I can't really answer, though, as far as I know, libPd is configured to run witn vanilla Pd, still it's possible to compile externals with it (e.g. I've managed to compile the zexy library in a Bela, which uses libPd).
