I am starting to dabble in using sigmund~ but it seems to take up a good bit of the CPU. Also, the numbers move so fast I am not sure the best way to "capture" the data generated. I am using average, but that does not seem to capture the data well.

@raynovich To slow the output you can increase the window size.
So for example [sigmund~ -hop 65536] should give an output about every 1.5 seconds.
The value must be 64 to a power of 2 and the default (-hop unspecified) is 512 (about 86 outputs per second).
Of course you will not catch changes as quickly.
