Hi All,

I am trying to make screen recordings of some of the patches I've made in Automatonism v3.1 (Purr data) but I'm having so much brain strain trying to set up all the correct parameter connections.

I can usually get the video to record but the audio is the problem. I'm just not sure how to 'wire' that up.

I am on a Mac - so I believe I have to use a 3rd party device to record the onscreen audio, so I'm using the Jack Audio Device for that.

If anyone could suggest where I am going wrong (below) I would be really grateful.

@jona - Thanks for that. I have wrestled with obs several times in the past. I could never figure out how to get past the 'Hall of Mirrors' effect!

Minimize or hide the OBS window after you start recording. And the raw video can always be edited after the fact to remove the bits where you were navigating from the recorder to the demo.

@JackOats you also do not need to record the whole screen but you can record several windows...

Hi Guys - Problem solved!
I managed to eventually get all the Inputs/Outputs right.
