Why does a message box suddenly appear with greyish background (in this case the start and stop message for writesf~)?

@steff that's odd.. just out of curiosity what version of pd are you on and what is your os?

@steff It is a bug, it is just that the text in the message box is stuck selected. I forget the exact chain of events that causes this, but go to edit mode and click to edit the text and it will return to normal. I think it is related to using control in edit mode to click things, but i do not remember, I trained myself out of doing what ever causes this and can not seem to force it now.

Edit: I think you may have to actually select text to undo it, click and drag, not just click or double click.

@seb-harmonik.ar the bug has been around for awhile, I know it is in 50.2 and goes back to at least 50. I never really realized it was a bug until just now, I just adapted to it and moved on some time in the past.
