hi there. when i change the GOP size of a subpatch dynamically to select showing it's contents similar like:

how can i avoid, that pd reminds me each timethat the patch has been changed and asks me to save it.

Ah, i believe i figured it out:

[coords x-from x-to y-from y-to width height gop-mode x-gop-position y-gop-position(

@ingox seems that in GOP mode 1 and 2 it behaves like:
[ pd-patch coords <x-min> <y-min> <x-max> <y-max> <width> <heigth> <GOP-mode> <x-margin> <y-margin> (
but i couldn't figure out, what happens if GOP is set to 0. it seems, that the 3rd and 4th arguments set the x- and y-units, but depend on the first and second argument.... could someone enlighten me, please!

@toxonic Although "cords" is normally a message to a graph.......... https://puredata.info/docs/developer/PdFileFormat it seems to be understood by an abstraction gop as applying to its window.
I have always used......
[coords 0 -1 1 1 <x-size> <y-size> <0 no-gop, 1 gop, 2 no name> <x-position> <Y-position>(

The first 4 normally refer to a graph size <x-from> <y-to> <x-to> <y-from> so setting the axes.
So in my example x=0>1 y=1>-1..... sort of standard for a Pd Graph when you open its properties window.
I never experimented with changing those first 4 arguments, or maybe I did and the results were none.... or crazy. I don't remember.
So yes..... you have the correct arguments, and I don't think the first 4 do anything..... unless maybe they will scale the objects shown in the window but I doubt that so much that I am not even going to try..
It would be interesting though to see what happens when a graph or table is shown through the gop.

@whale-av Thank you! The x/y-from/to are relevant for GOPs that display data structures. Usually they are set to 0 and width/height, but you can for example set them to 0 and 1 and a polygon with coordinates 0 0 0 1 1 1 1 0 0 0 will always fill the complete GOP window, regardless of the actual size of the window.

@ingox Ah! So you can maybe scale some graphical objects.
Can you flip them as well?
Maybe see what happens with your pix patches?

the first arguments also have effect on the visibility of contents in gop mode. if you change the y-min and -max to certain values, things won't be displayed in gop, even if they are within th gop borders. pd-coords-test.pd
