I can see how I might broaden/direct the star stream to point right at the mid point.

However, when I envision light travel is creates a void in the direction I am facing (maybe I'm just media-influenced, but that's all I want for now).

I did check for star-field patches (for a moment) and didn't find any. If already made: Excellent.

p.s. background: it is to help me visualize what I will be doing when I manipulate 3 channels of a 4 track (simultaneous) recorder (the 1s being noisegate/eq3/compressed) with my friend on guitar playing lead (and the source audio stream) and me playing the parameters (1,2 and possibly 3) effect parameters one effect on each channel which are chained down from the src (0>1,1>2,2>3) input via 3 usb-flight-sticks (one per foot and one in my two hands). I'm telling him it will be like intergalactic space travel .
