Hallo forum
can anyone recommend a step by step tutorial in setting up and using FFT processes in PD? Looking to do some vocoding, pitch-shifting, sample-freezing etc.
I have found some quite old ones, but things like images, other links etc aren't archived, or give me 404. Thanks

fft tutorials?

There are quite some on Pd's website. Check these:

Thanks I'll def check those out. I did find some fft patches on the forum here, but they are not tutorials. I could use them, but without understanding them

NNB - pd-vanilla here! -
@brendanmac Unfortunately some documentation is well hidden, even though it is very detailed.
For example, if you look in "\pd\doc\3.audio.examples/I07.phase.vocoder.pd" and open the subpatch [fft-analysis].
Opening the help for each object then explains the functions better.
The PD doc is a tutorial in itself, and sadly "hidden away" in plain sight.
Anyone using Pd has it sitting there, on their computer, in a place they never visit!

Niiice suggestion, thanks very much. I was selfishly and lazily hoping that there was a video toot out there, but Socratic learning is more valuable I guess, cheers
