Hello! I'm new to PD. I have modules in uni that I need to build pd patches. Any help will be very much appreciated!

First of all, my patch has a sub-patch that plays the tremolo, a sub-patch that plays a scale really fast ascending and repeating itself with reverb in it so it creates a kind of texture, and lastly a scale that plays repeated slower melody.

So my problem is, there's a beep sound the moment I turn the DSP on and when the patch is done playing the beep is still there. Can anyone help to get rid of the beep?

Here's the file. So when you first play it, it goes like normal but as long as all the patches are done playing, the beep will go on continuously until I turn off the DSP.

It doesn*t do this for me! I am missing the freeverb~ object so maybe it has something to do with that? Also you should pay attention on using the [trigger] object whenever you have more than one inlet connected to one outlet so the execution order is clear.

@rikkithesmith It is being produced by very low frequency ouputs from the [cycle~] and [osc~] objects arriving at the inputs of the [freeverb~] object. Removing them with high pass filters kills the annoying little "beep" (I have inserted a couple set at 5Hz). If it affects the operation or "sound" of your patch then you will have to look for another solution, or come back here for more help.....

@Johnny-Mauser yea i think its the freeverb that makes the beep sound...

@whale-av yea you're right! the [cycle] and [osc~] is the culprit! But having [hip~ 5] doesnt seem to work for mine...

@whale-av I've solved it with a band pass filter! [bp~] i think that beep sound is 2Hz...
