Ok, so THIS is a perplexing one....
I thought it might have been my coding, however, it happens in the included motionblur.pd file in the gem examples folder(7.texture 8.motionblur.pd)
the effect works perfectly in the default screen size, however, upon enlarging the screen, the effect totally(seemingly) disappears.
I have tried resizing square from 4 to 8..to 10...............clicking the different messages (0 0, 500 500 respectively), all to no avail..
maybe it's just my computer, who knows..
Running pd ext 0.43.4 on Windows 8, ASUS F550l
Maybe someone could confirm if this happens on their setup as well and/or tell me something I am missing?
Thx in advance.
Edit: when in doubt, always consult the brain...
I started playing around with the window resolution message, (inlet 3 in [pix_snap2tex]) and got some results entering 1366 768 as that's my resolution..... changing the square size also helps...
Now.....here is my question, for a live performance, if I was projecting or mapping GEM, it almost definitely would be better to project from full screen mode as I would be getting higher resolution correct?
probably an obvious question, can't hurt to ask though
