Hey, was just wondering if anyone could help me convert a PD patch into a working max version. I've done most of it but I'm stuck on a few minor details, such as where there is a message box that starts with a ";" that seems to be sending data elsewhere.

If anyone could help me with this predicament then I'd be most grateful.

    Thank-you :)

Actually not figured out at all...does need to be an object.

Ok back to the original problem of how to send "r $1" in max???

This has gotten me truely stumped...I'd really like to fix this for my own peace of mind.

I'll upload my max patch n'all...although this is a PD forum.

    Don't worry...figured it out :)

needed to be a message and NOT an object as I had it.

Can't actually figure out why it's still not working though...looks fine to me now

    Soooo close now.

The only bit that's got me stumped now is where in the 'Mycircle' sub patchers it starts off with a 'r $1' which I can't seem to use in max due to the error "$" variable out of range.

Apart from this I can't see anything wrong, could someone guide me into the light?

    Cheers

Hey, cheers for the speedy reply

Yeah I kinda guessed that was its function. Sooo is where route sends 'one' 'two' 'three' connected to the other route function that declares 'one create $1 $2' ?

I think this is the crux of my problem...that I don't know where the functions that involve ";" are going...otherwise I've pretty much converted this PD patch to Max

Also I hate to admit it but I'm not sure what to do with that .txt attachment.

I briefly clicked on your myspace page a moment ago...I'll check it out again properly in a minute, looked good.

    Thanks again
