1. You should insert a Hslider or a Vslider, right click, properties, set the range from 0 to 11, and then connect it to an int object, when then goes into the root input.

2. You should use the technique above to get a slider with the range with the number of scales that you want, and use a sel object to send a message with the appropriate list to the right input.

3. Similarly, use a sel object to manually map the numbers to symbols for the scale and the root note, and connect them to a GUI box or send a message to a canvas to display text.
