Not meant to hijack, but, how could someone make a editor ? Reverse engineer it or through different process. I dont have yamaha tho i would like it ( im a fan of fm ) and i am looking for another synth.

That is oriented more on the live performance, than studio work. Kinda like IL Minihost Modular , but it would be loads better if you could have one midi keyboard zoned to multiple plugins ( based on velocity, zones, etc ). I usually work with 2 or 3 instances of Synth1 ( yeah i know, cheap ) and it would be nice if host could change patches on them all... kinda like mastermind foot controller.
Any ideas?

( because having a cheap laptop + a few instances of synth1 is way cheaper than having nord lead )

So, you could replace 8 record banks with 8 sample players? Kinda like a octatrack

Hello people, i need some ideas. I was looking on advice on how would i build pd patch, that, in essence would play sound file, with pitch control, cue and loop positions, and maybe some FX, to run in pddroid on my tablet. Real thing is, i have two tabs, and one DJ mixer, and thought it would be nice if there is a single DJ player app but i cant find it.

A little back story, a friend invited me to play with them, and i felt kinda sick of playing keyboard so i ( at least for now ) render all i pads, textures, etc and mix them as they play ( using built in players, sucks., i know ).

So, i thought, for a patch that

• Loads a file ( or multiple files, up to say 8 )
• Volume control
• Playback speed ( with granular shift ?, original pitch is not that important )
• Loop entire file, or quantised?

I understand my english is not top notch, so to make things clear im not begging of anyone to build this for me, i would just like people to throw in their ideas in the pond

Hello, im using a really crappy usb audio interface on my computer as my main soundcard ( one integrated is turned off in bios ) an pd behaves, as all programs, weird. Well, i can't run two programs that use audio at one. Strangely, playing some games and playing foobar2000 does not produce nay problems, but if i ever try to, lets say, run some pd "musicmaking" patches ( like some generative stuff ), and run audacity to record it, or even soundforge, or any other sound app, i instantly get massive amounts of noise instead of sound, and i have to quit all apps to get sound back to normal.

So, how do i record pd output from pd? Or correct this issue i have?

Hello. I Installed PD-Extended, and could not configure sound. I have Lexiconpro Lambda usb thingy, and it just wont work. Any help is greatly welcome

Again i have the same problem, and i forgot what made PD work last time :D
I installed from here http://autobuild.puredata.info/auto-build/latest/ and now when i uninstall, and go back to previous version, i cant get no sound again

Soundcard is set so 44.1kHz 16 bit, and voila! Pd works. Just there are few bugs, fault of the card actually, it is bloody "single tasking",so, if one program uses it, no other can Well, exception to that is foobar2k,msn,vlc which work happily together, but if i run something bigger, wondorous mischief happends

I have onboard soundcard, but, i dont know if i can actually use two at once?

Immidietly after PD starts, it says "audio I/O stuck... closing audio" and if i try to modify audo setting, i get stuck while choosing which audio device to use, so that i must kill PD from task manager.
Oh, yes, i use win XP
