    Hello,
with gripd the vst host slider is outputing floats from zero to one, I multiply it by one hundred twenty seven (for example) and passes the result through a [int] object. That process is skipping numbers and this is not what I am expecting for some reasons.
    Anyone could help?

hello, I would like to know how to contact pd developpers to report some bugs i've found in the basis objects.

you need to turn sound on to make this work.
I've copied-paste a patch from chris mc cormick that makes slices with bonk~, and some F. barknecht datastructure, it needs to have DSP turned on. pd-datagraph.pd comes from some tests I didn't erased, sorry. If you wanna get pd-ableton faster, like me, let's go further...Please post the hint from roman, we have no clue in here.

Hi, I'd be interested about implementing beat markers, like the test in attachment, and then we would be able to make a slice editor as well, what do you think about this?

    hello,

    have you got error messages?

the problem could come from glx but we need more informations about the it...

    hello,

    running winxp

I think it's the problem, even if i didn't understand fully what you expect from pd.

It's possible with linux (I don't know about macOSX) to use a "low-latency kernel" for reducing buffer size without having sound glitches.

Though it's a good idea to make feedbacks like that, I used to do it with tapes, delay sampler, interesting sounds arrives also when we introduce triggers into the feedback loop .

Thanks I didn't know these abstractions, I will use of some of them in my multimedia project.

But is it that complicated to create a patch with two [ctlin] for allowing rnrp ?

hello, why do you use reason? It hasn't got a really good sound and it's very limited and empiric.
A good advice would be about using VST instruments rather for having the same kind of instruments but with having the possibility of making your own with VST-SDK, and without being limited by the inefficiency of sound processing and communication protocols of REASON. VST is also pure data compatible.

Also you couldn't even make an external that handle rewire because it's not source free.

You can certainly use midiyoke, or mapledriver for wiring MIDI between REASON and PURE DATA
but with accusing a latency that couldn't be below 25ms in one direction

indeed, if you connect MIDI in to MIDI out on a windows machine, you would see with [timer] that the latency couldn't go below 50ms even with making any effort for optimizing your machine.

The thing that will convert digital signal to analog is certainy not a pure data patch, it's an hardware process.

You can also control your hardware with a pure data patch and ARDUINO or HID externals.

What do you want to do exactly?
Controlling chips like PIC16C67 with your computer,
or making an emulation of PWM synthesis?

hello, did you try to retrieve your rnrpn controller data with [ctlin 98] (low bits value) and [ctlin 99] (high bits value)?

The solution would be about using a "low latency kernel" but I don't know if you can get it with
    a macOS.

Re-hello, it's possible that the cyclone library from pd-extended doesn't work good,
you can find this library working in the original site:

    hello,
it's difficult to understand what you really want to do.

    what are "heterogenous data"?

It seems that you are looking for a way to store internal messages in a textfile for dynamic patching,
    with error detections.

    Am I right?

I've been looking for informations about using netsend/netreceive to communicate with an sql server.

It seems that we have to open a socket in the server (http://fr3.php.net/manual/en/transports.php)

I haven't tried yet, the server I am using for my site doesn't allow this function.

I might change this free site provider with a better one that allows socket opening and file writing for having FUDI available,
but I doubt that it will be free.

Maybe someone has found a better solution or some informations about how to get/send data between pd and a server without using OSCx?

    hello,
there might be a solution with a php script that send OSC messages.

    http://www.a2hd.com/software/

This script would be installed in your homepage server.

Puredata would receive parameters sent by a statistics php program, (some scripts of this kind doesn't have the need for having a database,) and a graphical interface made with gifs with using the OSCx external,

all the sound processing and managing, and an eventual audio stream (receivd by users) could be controlled from pure data.

I've tried with pd-0.39-2, it doesn't work as well, maybe compiling this external with mingw or having a version of pure data compiled with vc++ would resolve this problem?
