i patched up an app for the monome and thought i'd share. included in the zip is a midi looping abstraction i rolled "from scratch" - it (the abstraction) is completely independent from monome requirements and can be used generally in any pd app (provided the cyclone library is installed).

is there a way to execute a final bang/message/anything upon closing or exiting a patch? can't seem to find this info via google/forum search.

i patched up an abstraction for looping midi. makes use of the borax object in the cyclone library, so cyclone is a must. maybe it'll be helpful. posted about it here:

modify as needed - use a notein object to set the note number in each message attached to the makenote object as the sequencer cycles through the sequence.
