and if I search for "fade" in "titles only" I get completely random, unrelated posts. Not even one word between the results is in common.

To me that seems to be a deeper issue than an autocorrect…?

    Hi!

Sorry to bring back this old thread, but I'm having real issues searching on this forum, which makes it frustrating to use.

I'm having the same issues as @druffdan that when I enter keywords and search for "Titles only" I never get results with the keyword in the title.

Is it my browser or do other people have the same issue?

    Dear forum,

I've been looking around but couldn't find an answer to this weird issue I'm having.

    number
    |
    [t f f]
    | |
    | [int]
    | /
    [ - ]
    |
    number

When I subtract in this way 10 from 10.4 I get 0.4, as it seems logical.

    But when I subtract a higher number, e.g. 180 from 180.4 I get 0.399994 instead of 0.4

    Why is that?

    Thanks!
    Martin

    Hi!

    On Mac OS X I'm using Pd 0.45.4 with a path pointing to /Applications/Pd-extended.app/Contents/Resources/extra (Pd-extended 0.43.4).

I'm getting this error message on Pd 0.45.4 startup:

UNHANDLED ERROR: version conflict for package "Tk": have 8.4, need 8.5
    while executing
    "package require Tk 8.5"
    ("uplevel" body line 10)
    invoked from within
    "uplevel #0 $tclcode"
    FAILED TO LOAD /Applications/Pd-extended.app/Contents/Resources/extra/search-plugin/search-plugin.tcl

    I checked my Tcl/Tk version, it's 8.5.9.

    Anyone experiencing the same issue?

    Thanks for any help!

    Martin

    hey!

i tried to use "\" in a message box and it wasn't possible: it said: "keycode 92: dropped". i know, one can say, just use another symbol, there are plenty to use. but i want to write this to a textfile, with which lilypond can communicate, and there is one essential command in lilypond, where i really need "\".

    thanks for your help!!

    hey!

is there a way to make a graph show its index of the axes? or to show values dynamically?

i use the graph for multiple control values and it would be useful to see, what value i'm setting.

    many thanks!

    hey!

does anybody know if there is a patch that enables score following in pd and with which one can create a action-score? i would like to use it with pianos, so it is possible to send audio and midi to the input of the patch...

    hey!

i've got a problem: everytime i open subpatches, their window size always grows a little bit. and if you don't always resize it everytime you open it (and you often forget to, apart from it is really annoying) it can become so big that the corner down-right, where you can resize it is out of reach of my desktop.
what can i do about it?

    hey!

    need some help...
how can i store a range of e.g. 20 different numbers, that arrive consequently, not all at the same time? [float] can only store one... i.e. is there a list that can be "filled" up succesive with numbers?

    and as a second question:
is there any object that can sort this list afterwards and print out the received numbers in a predicted order (e.g. from min to max)?

yet another question: is there a object that can convert midi numbers to keynumbers (e.g. 60 (or 61?) to c3)?

    thanks!

    Hey,

Sorry for bringing up that old post.

    But: I couldn't use a relative path for [; pd open <patch.pd> <path>(

I've put a [declare] object but it doesn't work either. Only from /home/martin/... on it worked.

Is there a way around it?

    Thanks

Thank you very much so far...

    The problem is, that

    [92(
    [makefilename %c]

prints out four backslashes at once, and adding it to a message ends up with two backslashes...
Is there a way to make it produce a single backslash?

    Thank you!
    Cheers

there are more infos on his website for anyone who's interested in it:
