i can use and manipolate dv video (720 x 576), with both pdp_yqt and pix_film.
But i can't with hdv video (m2t extension, 1440 x 1080).
Any tips? (exept downconverting)

using [dsp] inside your patch, or starting pd with this argument:
$ pd -send "; pd dsp 1" yourpatch.pd

i have the same card and works perfectly with freebob and jack (debian and ubuntu)
you can try freebob instead of ffado
