Hi Liam,
Thanks for your feedback. You advice with the number atom is very helpful, although I do usually remove them later, when I'm patching I like to see everything that is happening. I guess I weird like that, but I didn't realise it was using CPU so thanks!!
I will also give an abstraction a go! I'm not new to Pd, I've just always used it in a very limited way, so I've never tried this.
Maybe you could help me further.
I'm trying to use a PNOscan which will trigger previously recorded clips. However the piece the pianist is playing is very difficult. So, I thought it would be best to count the notes as she plays and then use some sort of conditional logic to say, if note 64 is played 7 times trigger this audio.
So I guess my question is, clearly Lucien's method is better, but how do I take the information from the Array and place it back into number atoms (like in my patch) so I can easily see how many time each note has been played and then write the appropriate conditional logic?
Once again, I'm very grateful for any suggestions/help anyone has.
Many thanks,
Toby
Also this site/forum is amazing so thanks again, again.
