Looks like a pretty detailed technical reference.
Would be nice to know if there is some code (matlab or else) to generate audio files
(wav) with the various synthesis methods cited.Very interesting, thanks for posting.

This book is a classic, "The Computer Music Tutorial", by Curtis Roads
http://mitpress.mit.edu/catalog/item/default.asp?ttype=2&tid=8218its a big book, but easy to follow.
