pfff.. i wasn't aware of the [curve~] object.. m(
so here is an updated version, basically millers adsr with [curve~] instead of [line~]. its much much better now.. -
great idea, i have been thinking about doing this too.
ADSR with line~ isn't very natural sounding. -
@nuromantix thanks! there are some curved-adsr patches out there, but i haven't found one witch lets you shape each phase individually.
i have to admit that my first attempt is not working exactly like it should...
to achieve this with line~ or vline~ really is a headnut, actually i think it is IMPOSSIBLE! [:)] -

I know that it doesn't let you control each part of the adsr separately........ but for "human" listeners...... and technically... multiplying the output of [vline~] by itself "should" give the most "natural" curve......... and its easy......

The "0.5" will also "sound like" 0.5......... an added bonus.....
......... as we hear "power" and not "amplitude" as "volume"............

Yes good point…. that explains why M.S.P.'s synth patches often multiply the output of the ADSR y itself before using it.
