when i go to File> Startup..., i see a list of binaries. How can i add one?
I dont get it.....

just put the name of the external or folder you want into one of the 10 slots (you don't actually need Gem or others there if ur not using it)

Click Save settings > OK and restart Pd

Thanks boonier, i didn't know anything about that limit: ten binaries.

Do you now why that limit?

you can actually get a lot more binaries than that. i don't know why there are only 10 slots. it's a design fault.

i know with adding extra paths, you can just add a new path in an existing slot, separated by a colon. and no spaces. maybe that will work for binaries too?

eg:

/home/mpi/audio:/home/mpi/patches
