Everytime I try to start PD it looks like this:

@luismipv You have bought a windows computer with a very VERY high resolution screen!
You might find that you have the same problem with other programs.

This problem has been discussed before on this forum, but I think it was "lost".
I remember that someone posted that the solution is to set a lower default DPI (dots per inch) setting and then for all of your apps that -"-"do not have a problem with High Resolutions-"-" tick the "Disable display scaling on high DPI settings" button in the program settings (right click... program settings)
Please note......... that is what I remember, and I am old and my memory could be bad.
The high screen resolution is the problem though.........

@luismipv YES! I am very sorry.... I made a mistake. The link in my last post explains the solution better than I did.
It is NOT the resolution that you will have to change, but the default DPI (dots per inch) setting....or "display scaling" maybe.... you will have to google around for it.
Again... very sorry. I am sure that you will get to a solution.........
Pure data sets its screen drawing in dots.... so that it can look the same on different os's and we can all exchange patches. You could change those settings in your copy of Pure Data.... but then if you share a patch then the person that you share with will most likely have the "opposite" problem!

PS....... in the meantime this will allow you to work...... as I said above, you need long term to go the windows route for a solution......... help_temporary.zip
