I like browsing through the older posts in the forum to see ideas I haven't seen before, gain new insights about pd yadda yadda.
When I am in the "technical issues" subforum, if I click on a thread, then hit the back button on my browser, I get taken back to my last scroll location in the subforum. In other words, I am looking at the exact location where I clicked the thread (which might be really far down).
However, when I am looking at posts using the search bar this does not happen. If I scroll down the list of matching results, click a thread, then click the back button on my browser, I am taken back to the very top of the search results page.
This can be frustrating because then I have to spend a minute trying to get back to where I was on the search results page. To work around this, normally I have to open the thread on it's own new page. But sometimes I forgot and it throws me off track.
This might just be a Google Chrome issue, and it's a very minor bug in the grand scheme of things, but I thought it'd be worthy of some attention.
