i am biginner. i would like to record my music from patches:realtime changes which i am doing during the playback...but i do not how. i want to create new wav file from realtime changes. i tried to work with writesf~ ... but unsuccessfelly!! could you advise me, please? tom

Helo Tom,
The thing to remember with [writesf~] is to send it the correct mesages in the right order. Start by sending it a file name like ./mynewfile.wav , then send it a start message and finally send it a stop.

i have 7 sec sample and i am changing it - i want to record my realtime changes.
before dac i have tabread~ / should i connect it to left inlet of writesf~?thanks so much, tom

almost right. You needed the word "open" before the filename.
