The lowest [pix_threshold] uses blue (this patch tracks blue as is), and the top two [pix_threshold] use green and red (left to right, respectively), hence the [0 $1 0( and [$1 0 0( messages.
If you want to track red, you have to set that color to the lowest [pix_threshold] and make sure the other two thresholds use green and blue. All you need to do is change those [0 $1 0(, [$1 0 0( and [0 0 $1( messages. Remember that digital colors are RGB (red, green, blue).
