Hi again
Sorry for these inane questions about table reading...
I've been experimenting with xgroove~ and it seems to fit the job. As an object of convenience it means that I can focus on on other aspects of whatever I'm trying to build. But I can't get the niggling (slap on the back of the hand) feeling that I should be using the hand build sample player - purely as a point of learning PD and understanding which approach is best for the task.
But, from a point of interest, what drives it?
Also, what are the advantages between all the methods (phasor~/vline~/line~ etc) and which one should I be focusing on, as quite frankly I'm getting myself in a muddle! 8/
I am familiar with the phasor approach as it makes more sense to me. Vline stumps me when I comes to doing varispeed. (i *can* read around the table with it though and understand the messages and [delay] retriggering part.
If anyone could clarify this for me it would be greatly appreciated. thanks!
Si
