Bring something to the front without losing all connections

If you think that the explanation is not clear enough, just ask me, OK? If you don't ask, you don't learn.

Sorry Landon, but I don't get you patch at all. I don't see any objects changing their orders there, what is it supposed to do?
Thanks and take care,
Gilberto -
Dear Landon,
you can also mark the Ojects you want to have in front, delete them and bring them back via [cmd]+z or [strg]+z. So you don't have to connect wires again.
Best,
Johnny

@gsagostinho Thank you for confirming my suspicions. I knew it, it was a clumsy explanation. Sorry about that.
It is a simple concept, not an advanced concept and not for advanced patchers. Maybe I should've made that clear.
The idea is this: while you are inside a subpatch, cut connections to inlets and outlets so that you can do VARIOUS editing tasks more comfortably. In this way, you can work more comfortably. And, once you've done all those editing tasks, you reconnect everything back. That's what I meant with "THE SOLUTION IS A TEMPORARY DISCONNECTION".
@Johnny-Mauser Thank you, that's a good idea. That's perfect for a single editing task.
Now, here we have another idea. But this one requires a preventive mind.
[spigot 1] | [pd subpatch] | [spigot 1]
This is about creating a sandwich. So, if you do crazy edits inside your subpatch, the worse that can happen is that you'll have to reconnect the "always open" spigots to the subpatch.
In fact, one could often surround a subpatch by a couple of [spigot 1]s so that you can later change that subpatch by some other subpatch easily.
Have a nice day, Johnny and Gilberto

Oh, Landon, I get what your patch now. Sorry, I was expecting something automatic and magical, but now I get what you wanted to convey.
@Johnny-Mauser I didn't know that!
And here is another solution: use Pd-l2Ork, which has a simple option to bring something to the front or to the back.
Take care,
Gilberto -
OK, let's face it, Johnny has the optimal solution. Efficient and simple.
