I have a question, how can you use PD diagrams in a audio edit program? For example if you make a diagram with 3 inlets and 3 outlets the left is audio signal, middle is START command, right is STOP command, then how can you do that? If not exists yet, can someone make this? I don't know how. I am using Windows XP but is prefer if it can work on Linux as well as Windows XP.

Can you clarify this question please zzo38. Do you wish to use Pd as a process to operate on a selected area of a file, say in soundforge?
(if so great question...

Yes, that is what I meant.

The thing is that Pd always runs real-time.
I'm not sure about this, I'd like to know a good way myself.
Best guess right now...
Use Audacity.
Write a little nyquist script to:
write selection to a tempfile
call pd -no gui on tempfile and process audio as an array
read modified tempfile back into bufferIt's really inefficient and butt ugly
Any better ideas anyone?
