Wanting to run Pd -nogui I've been thinking that such a feature for osx would be great (heard it's possible on Linux, but no idea which flavor what so ever), since the laptop becomes solely the audio (or video) engine and you're no longer 'checking your email', and found this: http://semaja2.net/insomniaxinfo

It lets you close your laptop's lid and the computer keeps running. Just thought of sharing it since others might have similar thoughts..

Good example of Apple "feature" ^^ ! It seems unbelievable to me that you can not set your laptop to keep running with the lid closed. Even Windows allows this, i think ! Anyway, i've always been able to do this with all Ubuntu versions i've had since 2005.
