I'm trying to check out VST~ and every version of Hans-C Steiners installers(Windows) I can't invoke it. I get the error that the pthreadVC.dll can't be found, but it is right there in the bin folder. Any Ideas?

I got something similar when I used to load VST using Hans extended
build on Win. As far as I remember, the compiled vst.dll object shall work on
the "vanilla" version of PD, i.e. the version you can find on Miller's site..
Just copy the .dll and try to open the help patch..

Thanks. If i just replace Hans' binary with the vanilla binary (w/out changing the registry) will my extended externals load up?
