I'm doing a work for music festival in Pd and I need to switch between web cams in the middle of patch. I tried to bang pix_video with different device messages, but it just ignores that, but it works when I set the device in the beginning.

Is it possible to switch between devices in the middle and if is, how?

you could open all those devices in different objects, than route them later acording to your needs.

Have you tried switching using a hradio, like in the help file?
