sorry, but i cannot delete wires in pd. the cursor changes to X but i can do nothing to delete wire. i can delete whole objects with all connection, but... i am using winxp and tried both release and nightly build. please give advice. thanks f.

when the cursor changes to X click on the wire (it changes to blue) and then "Ctrl+X"
should work..

I use what AlbertoZ suggests, except with the backspace key (a little more convenient than Ctrl+X).
