i seem to have a problem with "speedlim" - whenever i save my patch and reopen it, it disappears. i also cannot move the speedlim element - it separates from its box (looks like a comment then) and leaves an empty box on the canvas.

is this a problem you had before?

i think speedlim is one of the cyclone objects? ie, something ported from max/msp to pd....a lot of those objects seem pretty buggy. better to just use normal pd objects.

what does speedlim do? doesn't it just restrict bangs from ocurring faster than a specified time?

you could make an abstraction for that really easily.

yes, it limits message speed, I use it for a COM port. is there a replacement you would suggest? it seems buggy, indeed.
