i'm next to do a video-liveset, i've never do that before so i'm trying to make a list of all the things i certanly have to do using PD in this context. The first thing is, how to project the images? Is there any [output] object to shout gemwindow out of the projector, or i simply have to connect the projector and let Gem run?
I'm on a Powerbook g4 1,33ghz

my friend is a vj, and with his setup he just plugs the projector into the monitor output of his laptop. no output objects or anything,. he just has to choose the area of the screen to crop the projection to., seems pretty easy,

Yep, it's pretty easy - just plug the projector into your laptop, set it up as a second monitor (as opposed to a mirror of your laptop LCD), and use the [fullscreen 2{ message to gemwin to get your graphics over there.
