audio from pd has stopped working.
i've tried :-

reboots
turning off/on audio
testing
setting a different audio device
trying different usb for my main audio device
re-downloading & installing

has anyone else had this problem?

any help greatly 'preciated

whne you open preferences->audio, check the following things:

has the 'output device' box got a tick in it?

are 'channels' set to 2 (or more) ?

when you set your audio device, are you clicking on 'Apply' ?

...
in the console, is "compute audio" also ticked?

found out my input setting was the problem.
i use a headset which has only 1 input, but my number of inputs for this device had been changed and set to 2 (not sure why/when). This stopped all audio settings working including output even though it was set correctly -
