Hey guys! I'm pretty new to PD so excuse the very green question:

I'm designing a crossfade patch that will crossfade between various sound files. No matter what, I can't get the line whitch lowers the volume to function.

I know this has to be a very simple stupid mistake, but I can't figure out why it JUMPS to zero every time.

There's a couple of things here: you're main inlet is directly connected to the two [t b b]'s. So you've got no real clue about which one will be triggered first It would be better to put a first [t b b] to guarantee the order of execution. Secondly, to do audio fades it's better to work directly with audio signals than with control signals, so it's better to use [line~] or even handier [vline~]. Good luck with it...
